# How to Yap

From now until our TGE (Token Generation Event), SatLayer is allocating up to **0.75%** **of the upcoming token supply** to reward SatLayer yappers:

* 0.5% to SatLayer Yappers
* 0.25% to broader Kaito ecosystem

### Reward Breakdown

* **Total Rewards:** 0.75% of the total token supply 
* **Distribution Period:** until TGE
* **Snapshot Duration:** 30 days each 
* **Eligibility:** Top Yappers per snapshot period, based on SatLayer Yapper Leaderboard mindshare.

## Yapper Tasks

Compete, yap, and earn every month by completing the following tasks before the end of each snapshot period:

### **1. Become an Ace of the Week** 

The SatLayer team will select yappers on the leaderboard for the week based on the quality, accuracy and but not limited to the creativity of the content they post. Attaining the Ace role might come with added perks when snapshots are tallied.

### **2. Rank on SatLayer's Kaito Yapper Leaderboard**

Every **Wednesday at 10 AM UTC**, the SatLayer team checks who is ranking on the leaderboard.&#x20;

If you're on the list, expect a DM from us on Twitter with an invite to our private Telegram group — reserved for Yappers and Aces only.

Being part of this group may come with added perks and early access to announcements and alpha.

### **3. Wildcard Bounties**

Boost your upcoming token allocation by completing Wildcard Bounties before the end of the 30 day snapshot period. Random tasks will be announced every 2 weeks.&#x20;
