# SatLayer x Pulsar Money Bitcoin Restaking Challenge

SatLayer is partnering with Pulsar Money and Astrarizon to launch a Bitcoin staking campaign featuring a 5 million Sats² reward pool.

The campaign runs from **29 May, 2025, 18:00 UTC+8** to **27 June, 2025, 18:00 UTC+8.**

## How it works

To earn your share of the rewards, complete both on-chain and social tasks before the deadline. The more points you earn, the larger your share of the Sats² reward pool.

### On-chain tasks

Stake any of the supported BTC Liquid Staking Tokens (LSTs) via SatLayer on **Ethereum** or **BNB Smart Chain.**

#### Deposit tiers

| 0.00025 BTC    | 300 points    |
| 0.001 BTC      | 600 points    |

Points are awarded based on the `net new Total Value Locked (TVL)` you bring in during a `rolling 24-hour window`. The aim is to reward genuine, sustained inflows of new capital.

#### **What this means**

* `Net new TVL` is the *increase* in the amount of funds you've deposited, excluding any amounts you’ve withdrawn and re-deposited.
* A `rolling 24-hour window` means your points are calculated continuously. At any given moment, we compare your TVL now to what it was exactly 24 hours ago.

#### **Why it matters**

We want to reward users who consistently bring in new capital and keep it deposited, rather than those trying to game the system by quickly withdrawing and redepositing the same funds.

**Example**

* You deposit 0.0001 BTC today and keep it there → You earn 100 points.
* Tomorrow, you deposit an additional 0.0001 BTC → You earn another 100 points.
* But if you withdraw and re-deposit the same 0.0001 BTC later today → Your net new TVL stays the same → No new points are earned.

This approach ensures rewards go to users who genuinely help grow TVL over time.

## Rewards

* 5,000,000 Sats² reward pool 
* Rewards are distributed proportionally based on each eligible user’s total points, relative to the total across all participants
* Minimum of 300 points required to qualify for rewards

## Terms and conditions 

* All rewards will be distributed in Sats² rewards, which can be used in future SatLayer ecosystem programs. 
* Future tokens may be distributed on Ethereum mainnet, it is your responsibility to ensure you have access to the same wallet address used and are able to access such tokens even if you participated on a different blockchain network. 
* Any attempt to exploit vulnerabilities, engage in fraudulent activity, or manipulate the system will result in disqualification and points may be removed from all associated accounts. 
* By participating, users agree to comply with all applicable terms set forth by SatLayer and our partner.
